Developing an Impact Pathways Diagram
Working in groups of five, choose a specific environmental state to analyse. Conduct the
following tasks in your group:
? Identify which ecosystem services (from column 2 of Table 8) potentially could be
affected by an adverse change in the environmental STATE.
? For each affected ecosystem service, identify which aspects of human well-being would
likely be affected
? Describe possible indicators for each of the ecosystem services and human well-being
impacts that you identified.
Designate one spokesperson from each group to report results in plenary
Time: 40 minutes group, 30 minutes plenary.
